The Christian Allana brand creates and designs body conscious clothing that is artistic, innovative, edgy, yet functional. Christian Allana is for today's contemporary fashion forward woman.

MY DESIGN PROCESS
The design process of a designer is one of the most important aspects in developing a great collection. My process starts by draping, I love to see what I can come up with before sketching out garments. I find that I come up with more interesting designs that way.

Through my college years at Savannah College of Art and Design, I developed a strong work ethic. I learned the value of hard work. If you put your mind to it, you can accomplish anything. In May 2011, I entered the Night of Spectacles Fashion Eye wear Event. My task was to create a garment made up of 80% recycled eye lenses. My design won me first place winner of the Night of Spectacles Eye wear Fashion Event.

NBAF SCHOLARSHIP
​M. Jack Anderson Emerging Talent Awards is a scholarship awarded to young talented emerging designers who excel academically and who posses leadership qualities. In March 2012 I was one of the three young emerging designers. Along, with being awarded this honorable prize, My winning garment was featured in the window of Neiman Marcus.

My name is Christian Allana Caldwell. I am the designer behind the brand Christian Allana. I grew up in the beautiful scenic city of Chattanooga, Tennessee. My fashion story began at the age of eleven years old. As an child I was very well-rounded in the arts. From dance, music, to fine art I loved it all! It wasn't until I was doodling in my notebook and drew my first fashion sketch on the school bus on my way to school. From that very moment realized I wanted to design clothes.

My mother bought me my first sewing machine and I began using old clothes from her closet and revamping them. Along came my sewing teacher who taught me the proper way to construct garments. I knew one at a very early age that I wanted to have my own business. I created my first business plan for my company, Christian Allana at age seventeen.

​My pleated evening gown was featured in the SCAD 2012 Fashion Show "Evening Wear" Segment.
THE BRAND
The Christian Allana brand is for women who enjoy looking and feeling sexy and sophisticated. This woman is not defined by what she is wearing but by her attitude and the way she carries herself. She is motivated, fashionable, independent, determined, strong, and outgoing.
